What is Monmouth United Soccer Club?
MUSC is a private not-for-profit soccer club comprised of 23 boys and girls teams, with players ranging in age from 6-17 years old.

MUSC teams are affiliated with Mid-New Jersey and EDP leagues.
When are tryouts for MUSC? MUSC hosts tryouts each spring for the following soccer year. Please visit our tryout page for up-to-date information regarding tryouts.
What is the time commitment? During the fall and spring seasons, MUSC teams train a minimum of 2 days per week (training days are determined by the trainer and manager) and typically play 1 game per weekend and participate in 1 or more tournaments. In the winter and summer, MUSC teams train a minimum of 1 day per week, with game and tournament participation varying by team.
What are the fees? MUSC fees vary by age group and are comprised of club registration fees and training fees. Players are also required to purchase a uniform package which includes home/away and practice jerseys, shorts, socks and a personalized club soccer backpack. What happens if my child’s age group has two teams? When there are enough athletes to field two or more teams, players are rostered to the team that is most appropriate for their skill level. This provides each athlete with the best opportunity to develop at their own specific pace. Where will my child practice? Practices and home games are played throughout various athletic fields in Middletown.How can I volunteer to manage a team? Please register here on our website as a parent manager. Once you have done so, you will be required to complete a 9-hour course to obtain your coaching license (NJYS State Coaching License), a background check, a concussion safety course and a SafeSport course.
